From 18.40 on Friday 25 October until 5.25 on Monday 28 October 2024 and from 22.45 on Friday 8 November until 5.00 on Monday 11 November 2024, the S40 connections are cancelled between Mendrisio and Chiasso. Travellers use alternative connections. 

The RE80 connections with Chiasso terminus are also cancelled between Mendrisio and Chiasso. Travellers use alternative connections.

On Sunday 27 October and 10 November 2024 between 7:27 and 8:02 there will also be a total blockade between Mendrisio and Chiasso. A replacement bus service is running.

We also ask travellers to pay attention to any changes to InterCity and EuroCity connections arriving from Zurich and/or Basel.
